Getto w Łodzi utworzono 8.02.1940 a ostatecznie zlikwidowano między 2 a 30.08.1944 r., wywożąc pozostałych Żydów do Auschwitz- Birkenau i Stutthofu (we wcześniejszych akcjach do ośrodka zagłady w Chełmnie nad Nerem).
