Allied occupational forces arrive at Soe, Timor. The inhabitants of Soe, Timor cheered wildly and sang the Dutch National Anthem as the occupying forces, comprising of Australian and Royal Netherlands Indies Army troops, arrived at Soe, Timor, after the official signing of the Japanese surrender on HMAS Moresby on 11th September, 1945.
