Friedrich Wilhelm Schilling (1902-1939) was born on February 12, 1902 near Leipzig, Germany to Karl Schilling (1874-1958) and Luise Schilling (née Augustin, 1879-1953). He was a member of the anti-Nazi resistance. He was arrested in 1939 and imprisoned in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, where he died on November 4, 1939 of supposedly natural causes.

Consists of two small "Liliput" dictionaries, English to German and German to English, printed in Leipzig, Germany, carried by Sigfried Neu in the concentration camp.

Otto L. Plaut, like his father Maximillian Plaut, was a doctor. He practiced in Leipzig, Germany before the outbreak of the war. Otto and his wife Johanna Plaut (née Löwenstein) raised three children: Renate (b. 1930) and twins Andrew and Martin (b. 1937). Dr. Otto Plaut filmed his family in their home city of Leipzig and on various holidays from 1931 to 1937, and after the war in Massillon, Ohio. ...
