Contains correspondence sent by Ida Ney from Brno, Czechoslovakia, to her son Paul Ney, who was able to travel through Dublin and Rio de Janeiro before ultimately emigrating to the United States. The bulk of the correspondence describes Ida Ney's failed efforts to obtain a visa first to the United States and then to Cuba.

Consists of photographs, documents, and correspondence relating to the experiences of the Blumenstein family in Vienna, Austria, on board the MS St. Louis, in hiding in Holland, and their efforts to flee Nazi-occupied Europe. Includes a photograph of the donor's father in Sosua, Dominican Republic and a photograph taken in a Quaker camp for refugees in Havana, Cuba.

Letter written on the forced departure of a family from Neuhaus, Germany (1937), letter requesting assistance to obtain a visa to Cuba (1941), and a letter providing an eyewitness account of the Theresienstadt concentration camp (1946). All of the correspondence was written or received by the donor's relatives.

Consists of a collection of documents and photographs related to Franz Wiener, originally of Prague, Czechoslovakia, and his attempts to assist his cousin, Dr. Hans Bergmann and his wife Maria, to immigrate to Cuba or to the United States. Also includes post-war correspondence which implies that Dr. Bergmann and his wife survived the war.

The collection consists of artifacts, documents, and a photograph album relating to the experiences of Evelyn Klein, her mother, Maria Hermanda, and her stepfather, Miklos (Nicolaus) during their voyage on the Ms. St. Louis from Hamburg, Germany, to Havana, Cuba, in May 1939.
